  • review rating 5  They are nice and really know their stuff... and they have lots of great stuff. Just got a great deal on a ski jacket.

  • review rating 5  I bought a couple of climbing guides here, the staff were very helpful. My wife bought a ski jacket, the prices were great. The advise on the products was excellent, I definitely recommend checking out this place for your next skiing or climbing purchase.

  • review rating 5  Full disclosure I know the owners of The Gear Room personally but I wanted to write a review because this store and the staff are great! Chris and Kevin as well as the people they have hired know their stuff! Their primary concern is getting their customers into the gear that is going to get them the most of their time spent outside. Sales seems to always come secondary. If they don't have the right piece of gear they will tell you rather than try and make something work. You can go in as an expert or novice and know you will get great service. I have sold several things through the store and had no issues. I also have bought/upgraded some equipment that has all been in great shape for amazing deals. It is KSL prices but with the selection of a ski/climbing shop. If you haven't checked it out you have to!

  • review rating 5  I love that we can sell used gear for whatever price you want, but they also help you come up with a reasonable price that will sell. The guys are usually laid back and helpful. I have bought the majority of my rock climbing gear here along with my backpacking tent.

  • review rating 5  This place sells mainly used items like clothes, shoes, sleeping bags, coats, etc. The prices are reasonable. Their shirts for women ranges from $5 to $15. I bought a down light weight sleeping bag for under $100 and have been very satisfied with it. All in all, it's a great place to stop by. And the guy running the cash register is awesome. I'll be back again in a few months.
