CHECK OUT WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS THINK
The Gear Room was an awesome spot recommended by a friend, and it is worth checking out! All the guys are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and the prices are on point. Definitely my first choice for any future gear purchases in the Salt Lake City area!
The guys at the gear room were very knowledgeable and friendly. Cheapest price I could find on a quality climbing rope. Good selection of new and used gear. We bought 3 pairs of climbing shoes, a used kids harness, a new adult harness, and a 70 meter 10.0 rope for just over $300.
One of the best gear stores in Salt Lake City without a doubt. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent selection and very reasonable prices. Can't ask for more.
Recently bought a ski set up from The Gear Room and cannot wait to use them this winter! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as I tried on ski boot after ski boot. With each one, I explained where it felt tight or uncomfortable, and based on what I was saying, they would find another pair to try out. In the end this cinderella found her perfect fit! Thanks GEAR ROOM BROS!
In general, the gear room is great for finding used (and some new) gear at decent prices and the staff is friendly and helpful. I did have an issue with a binding mount (which I'm not sure if it was done in-house or not), but Chris, went the extra mile (and some) to get it straightened out. It was a bit of a saga, but Chris saw it through and I really appreciated that.
