They went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable before I made my final selection. I would refer friends and families to this store in a heartbeat!

  • review rating 5  I've always heard great things about this shop, so of course this was the first place I went on my recent trip to Salt Lake. Super cool spot with a great selection of new and used gear. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the gear and also the climbing/skiing in the area. Its just a fun place to hang out and spray.... maybe even buy some gear while you're at it! Ssshhhhhpppppsssshhhhhh ???

  • review rating 5  Love this place! They have great prices and an excellent selection of rock climbing gear. I haven't checked out any of their other gear categories, but we have been happy with all of our rock climbing purchases. Staff was very helpful with our questions and knowledgeable about topics discussed. Our most recent trip here, we got there shortly before closing and left 20 minutes after closing time. They were super chill about us taking so long! Thanks gear room!

  • review rating 5  I came in here with the intent of getting some backcountry ski gear. I had no idea what I was doing, looking for, or what to do, but I decided to stop here after hearing great things from friends. They were right, what a great shop with even greater employees. Chris was able to help me find a set of skis (used for $50 with fairies on them!), bindings (new), and skins (used) way under my budget. One other guy, whose name I forget but had a great hat on, helped me to find the perfect fit with used touring ski boots. Touring gear is not cheap, but they were able to help me find exactly what I needed at the price I needed. They walked me through each step, and what I needed based on my height, weight, and experience level, and explained the different types of skis based on snow types, how to use my new gear, and how to keep it in good shape. They also explained how I can upgrade as I get better, and what they can do for me. Finally, they mounted my skis, and gave them a good tune up. The first ride in my new babies were a blast, all thanks to them. I’ve come here countless times after. Their deals on new and used gear and the kindness and knowledge of the employees makes me want to come here every day. Unfortunately my wallet wouldn’t be too happy, but I can dream ?
